Joe Munno, UPrep Charter School

Recorded in July of 2012, we spoke with Joe Munno, former principal of Marshall High School and founder of University Preparatory Charter School (UPrep) in Rochester, New York. Joe spoke about why, after many years in the public school system, he chose to go the charter school route. He describes an approach that has since demonstrated a great increase in involvement by both students and family as well as remarkable graduation rates.
